About Me:
I run a police aviation unit in south florida. Basically I am a police officer who flys helicopters and light airplanes. Recently we have been been in discussions with the FAA over utilizing UAVs in a law enforcement application. Specifically, supporting special response teams in those situations that are hazardous to manned flight. I am trying to learn all I can about UAVs and to be honest I'm a little behind the power curve.
