On 20 April 2017, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and Stony Brook University will host a one day meeting in Washington DC tentatively titled “Cross-learning to Accelerate the Humanitarian Use of Drones”.  In advance of that invitation-only conference, the organizers are surveying experts and thought leaders in the fields of aviation, aviation law and regulation, public policy, international development, supply chain logistics, global health, and humanitarian response.  The goal is to collect a broad set of perspectives on the most critical research priorities and the biggest barriers in the field of drones for humanitarian and health response.

Members of DIYDrones with relevant experience are invited to participate in this survey.  The results will be discussed in aggregate (no individual responses will be identified) during the meeting on April 20th.  The outcomes of that discussion will be summarized and published following the meeting.

The survey will remain open until April 18th.  Please feel free to forward the link (https://goo.gl/forms/ZtaoL1pVrwMhqG7K2) to others who have experience in this area.  We are grateful for your willingness to share your perspectives on this exciting topic.
