About Me:

I am a professional Mechanical Engineer (and IT Network Engineer) and I worked in Aircraft Industry for around four years, overseas, doing design and 3D CAD/CAM/FEA modelling and manufacturing of the various aircrafts, and theirs components. Also I worked as an Avio-mechanic serving military jets during one year compulsory service in the Air Force, in Europe. Currently, I am living in Sydney, Australia.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

Personal interest - Horten Ho 229 – scale 1:4 R/C model upgraded with auto-pilot - I want to use real micro/mini turbo-jets. I am planning to do a complete 3D model of the aircraft and proper stress calculations (using Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD), for the internal structure and wing surfaces (scale 1:4), to have optimum flying performances for the craft. Once finished - I am ready to share the CAD/FEA model and experience with anybody interested in it. More info to come later on
