Long Range Telemetry in Europe, XBEE 868 Pro or something else?

Hi all,

I need to upgrade from the 3DR Radio modems to long range (approx. 30 km) telemetry. The RFD900+ seems nice but they are not yet legal in Europe?

What do people use? I have some XBee PRO 868, are they the best option?
