Due to my poor Flying skills, I had to search for a way to reduce the damage due to hard landing. This is what I come up with and it works well. However at times it is too bouncy.

I also face a problem with the suggested 150mm legs for the camera mount. The length seems to be only slightly longer than the camera mount. However in the Official page the distance between the camera gimbal and ground seems more. Not sure if I missed something here :(

This is the video of the first flight of my 3DR Arducopter with 880kv Motors & 10x45 Props and default PID. The drift was due to heavy wind and also I suspect a faulty ESC for motor #3 causing it to spin slower than others. It might also be due to tilted Motor mount.

I had replaced the suspected ESC with a new one. Will try a flight today to check if the problem still exists.

The soldering of PDB was not very difficult thanks to the detailed manual. However, I feel that soldering the Female Dean’s Receptacle first might be convenient as the narrow gauge wires won't came in the path of soldering gun. Though this is not a big issue.

My First shipment arrived. However my Ardupilot Mega 2.0 Board is still in pre-order and seems it will take some time to arrive. With I am taking a vacation starting April seems the full time work will start only then.
