About Me:

Based out of San Diego , working for a semiconductor major, former DIY hobbyist. Having attended a lot of talks on the future of robotics and drone technology, I feel this is the something which can improve lives of many people with relatively small investment. I want to compare Drone revolution to Mobile /Smartphone revolution but will hold on that for some more time to see how things pan out. It indeed has a lot of potential.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I have been following various TED talks and attending few comm nexus and other robotics conferences to see how the robotics will pan out in the future, although I am impressed with various advancements but I felt there was a lot of time before it became real mainstream and affect lives of people, one example of such drone technology was the swarm drone technology being worked upon by Prof. vijay from UPS. I had seen Chris's presentation of how drone is being used by farmers in CA and found an instant connect on how these technology can be used by farmers/planters in emerging markets and how their yield productivity and work force efficiencies can be improved by using today's technology.
