About Me:
I fly RC 3D and jets and small helis. I am developing an aerial photography project and therefore I shall be venturing into multi-rotor platforms for FPV and videotaping.
Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
UAV provides great flexibility, being able to control a multi-rotor robot and choose points from which I can film scenes high above the ground. The control I would have with the multi-rotor is precisely what I am looking for to enable me to film as I envisage. I would not be able to use a fixed wing model to full advantage for filming. I definitely won’t be able to hover and film. I would be able to do so with a heli but I prefer to go the way of multi-rotor if only for the new experience and the new technology. I am also a teacher and this experience I can share with my students from time to time.
