  • The University of Calgary Peregrine Falcon UAV-Team 2006 / 2007 report [PDF] is an interesting read. They used a Draganfly Tango Wing airframe. They went with a Piccolo Plus (educational discount) autopilot system - nice schematic diagram in the report. Finally, they went with open source GRASS GIS for data collection, i.e., geo-referencing and spatial analysis.
