The Failsafe board (known as a "RxMux", or Receiver Multiplexer) that I wrote about before (and here) is now available for $20 less and with the connectors that I complained were missing in the original and hard to find. It's now $79 and the connectors are $10. Get it here and the connectors here.
Yes, yes, they switch to a set channel when signal is lost. Most modern RC receivers also have a preset series of actions when radio contact is lost (cut power, etc..)
