Thank you all. I did check on the ground, however my worst fears were confimed today. I misconfigured the mode switch on my turnigy 9x with ER9x Firmware (custom curves used to put the switch within the desired limits for mode setup in MP). So to all the folks out there listening, PreFlight Till you are blue in the face, then take a deep breath and preflight again. Cause santa comes only once a year, and I LOVE my APM2.... 'Nuff said.
My common habit is to check attitude correction on the ground with the motor off before I launch. For example pitch the aircraft's nose down and the elevator should correct appropriately to bring the airplane back to level. Nose up etc. etc. Then I move the controls and for stabilize mode you should see the same deflections as you normally would expect from a normal rc airplane (why would you not right?)
It was. I was approaching my rollout and the plane just pulled up and left. The CG was correct at the time of launch. I am trying to figure if I didnt congigure the toggle switch correctly, and if so what pid settings caused this... All I need is a new prop and a balsa repair behind the nosegear.

That is painfull! Hahahahaha
yikes. With arduplane I always takeoff in manual when setting up/testing new versions or settings.
Do you take off with Ardupilot switched on?
PID configuration or pitch servo reverse ?
