@ Earl, Between July and October thousands of different species of plants and flowers germinate depending
on rainfall and the weather in general. Each year is different but always spectacular. Thousands upon thousands
of acres of flowers [some endemic and some brought to the country by the early settlers] as far as the eye
can see. Namaqualand is the name of this area if you care to research it.
