Got another shot of the track, in case anyone was inspired by line following problems. The bathroom & drinks were desperately needed by those of us running 10 miles with our robots, helas all the bigwigs were gone when we got there.
Started out in robotics by reading http://www.robotroom.com/ That guy was incredibly dedicated to line following, 15 years ago, but it remanes a toy problem. Would be ecstatic if the CEO of Autodesk could just buy the entire east bay & convert it to an obstacle course with real world driving conditions, rather than getting distracted by line following.
