  • Very nice work Bill!  I knew the T-hawk had vanes, but I assumed it was counter-rotating propellers using some kind of differential between the two.

    Those servos sure are busy!

    The quad vane approach seems to be workable but how efficiently it can cover a distance horizontally remains to be seen. Much surface area makes for drag, from a moving horizontal perspective.

    The unit in the trees looks tethered. Tethering a prototype is a good idea. Helps mitigate 'Ooops!' events.
