    Do not forget that the AMA has officially banned all autosystems and limited FPV so badly that an AR Paorrot is not AMA legal. Officially the AMA is throwing everything and everyone under the bus to protect the 1% of AMA memebers that have turbines, the minority that exceed 1200' Alt and the other minority that now want 125lb. aircraft. Why? I find it odd that the AMA leadership is trying to protect only "rich guys toys" while throwing the "peasants and foreigners" under the bus. Draw your own conclussions, I have.

    Not to spoil the hate-fest here, but I took the time to read through the RCU thread, not all of it, as I did have someother things to do today, but paying close attention to the last half, ie where the "enemy" comments began, I read nothing but misunderstanding.

     

    I am not going to post quotes from the conversation but I think if you read to the end, especially past the sensationalist "OMG planes that can fly themselves!" part, you'll see that the clamor turns to rational thought.

     

    I have seen this over and over again, people get excited and then say something stupid, think about it and then become much more rational.  The difference on forums, that moment of excited ignorance is captured forever and replayed out of context like a fox-journalist at a union rally (sorry hard habit to break).

     

    Point is, our friends and fellow aviation-enthusiasts over at RCU are just like us, there is not going to be a dividing line between sUAS and small scale R/C modeling.  They were afraid of garage built 200+kg UAS flying over their home, I can understand that; I'm a little concerned over turbine-powered 40% models (autopilot or not), I have done work on gas turbines; they are very complex, very beautiful machines that deserve respect, I might be timid about how some people use them, but I'll be rational.  

    Anyone who invests the time and money to develop either of those "frightful" things will be responsible for it, not just in the criminal sense.  We are the kind of people who do not waste our time and effort because we have so little of it to give.

    I'm sorry that was a rather long-winded post, my 3mins are up Mr. Speaker - Let the mud-slinging continue, I think there's still a shred of objective reasoning in this discussion somewhere...

    Stick, you have no clue about copyright law so I wish you would stop ruining this site with your misinformation, accusations and baseless rants.

    Upon such time as you post something factual and non-derogatory your input is welcome. Until then expect PA and RA to be deleted from this point on.

Have a look for yourselves."  There is what you went, took and posted.  I quoted it so you cannot have yours deleted, and the proof is gone.

    The fact that you went to a copyrighted site and reposted something that was there is proof that you have no character.  You violated several items by doing that.

    Stick, all you are doing is proving the animosity, lies and personal attacks that far to many AMA members throw towards anything that goes against the current AMA dogma... esp. when they have no facts to back them up.

    BTW, The AMA forum seems to have ruined itself without my help.

    Oh, they are not personal attacks.  I've just seen you in action, and I'd hate to see a nice Forum such as this one ruined as you tried to do with both the AMA Forum and RCUniverse.

    I am pointing out what I see going on and form my own opinions on my blog here. If the "AMA well" is poisoned it is the AMA leaderships fault as well as the members blindly following them down a garden path. Don't blame me for pointing it out.

    Why are you alledging I am "posing". If you knew anything at all you would know everythng about me like everyone else for the past years.

    You know nothing except how to cause trouble for no reason other than what appears to be gleeful personal attacks.
