I can't tell you exactly where it is, but I can tell you there are only 75 in South Africa and we managed to fly bang over the top of it at first attempt yesterday.

There is a good reason for only posting a low res image as well.

All in all a very exciting use for sUAS in Africa and exactly what we set out to do. There will be stacks of environmental uses for sUAS

Is it a water hole , marsh land etc with clouds reflecting, the other thing I could think of was old meteor crate or old volcano crater( doesn't look right with smoke/ clouds etc)

water hole or some sort of water body in one of the 75 nature reserves in SA ?, some old open pit mine , too jagged edges to be vulcano crater on top of some mountain( flew right on top of it?!) , :) I give up Gary, Google earth wasn't helping much looking around Rosetta

nope Scott , wish I did , must be a big natural hole/cave in the ground, lake or defunct valcano, mountain peak I guess , i can't think of any thing else. Almost vertical shot & blurred too , the green is lot of vegetation i think but doesn't give any clue to altitude( >400' <5000" , a little side angle would have given it up :)) , white flakes r confusing , but if it is really a very
