I think Ardupilot can do it, but two of four servos outputs are emulated (right now the code only uses one emulated for throttle), and in some point are "glitchy" in servos but you can't tell that when you use motor controllers. I suggest to wait the ardupilot mega.
Hi, Jordi, I guess it would be 4...the rudder channel, then the aile, elev and an aux channel those 3 are mixed on the tx to produce the throttle thanks, Josh
3rd time lucky maybe...
...my tricopter uses 3 gyros plugged into escs which run the motors, a 4th gyro controls the rudder via a servo. on the rx i use the rudder channel, the aile, elev and an aux channel ( throttle is controlled by pitch) will I be able to use ardupilot? all I want to do is have the tricopter hold at a given place and altitude for aerial photography and a return to home feature.. Many thanks for any input.. Josh
Does anyone know the pinout of the EM406 gps cable connector. Bought one of these connectors and now I want to connect this connector to my level converter board so I can use the locosys 5hz gps instead

In resume how many servo channels you need to control?
