Our ArduStation MEGA boards arrived today and I am truly excited to see how they work. Now starts small assembly job for them and then we can start doing testing for those.
Big thanks for Colin for his original ASM work, it's great to see what great minds can create.
New boards looks just awesome. Few connectors are missing but those are quickly soldered. These boards are from the first batch and we have them now small qty in stock. If there are any changes that needs to be made, we will do it and then first production batch will come.

@Paul,
I am using the 3DR 915MHz telemetry module and it works fine with my rover transceiver.
I think that Jani should setup and send you another pushbutton keyboard for gratis.
My pushbotton keyboard connector is on at a slightly crooked angle so I have been unhooking the keyboard from the ASM end when I need to remove it for case measurements.

Thanks Tom, I'll have a look at the xbees and another look at the connector repair (the keys don't change the display anymore - could do with a schematic!)
Cheers Paul
@Paul,
If you loaded on Colin's latest software that is the screen you should get if you do not have a telemetry link. Using the pushbuttons on the keyboard you should be able to select the other screens. So far the firmware is a little light on the parameter screens I belive. However Colin has created a video of how to build other screens here: http://www.diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/ardustation-mega-v1-0b-arri...

After a repair of the keyboard connector (a bit nasty as it lifted the tracks on the board) I get this on power up:
.....any ideas?
Is that the display f/w creating the display or is that Ardustation?
Cheers Paul
Project home page?
Harry, last week we had Songran holidays here so things were rather slow. New batch of ASM board is arriving at end of this week and then also documentation etc will be updated. We changed connector soldering to make them more stronger and few other tweaks.
To me it is now necessary directing for the antenna.
I choose between the Maestro, Ardustation and Ardustation 1.3.
For the Maestro the laptop is necessary, I don't love additional chains. :)
Ardustation 1.3 any documentation. Unclear where to take insertions and how to connect. :(
I've contacted them a couple of times but they are slow to respond and don't give out much information. Think these post may have prompted them as I just received an update, apparently awaiting parts and should ship shortly so fngers crossed.
Manuals?
Hi All,
Got all of the cutouts completed in my Preserver 3000 case and am ready to mount all of the ASM components in the case. Though I still have to install a switch and charging jack for the 2000mahr NmHi battery that will be mounted in the bottom of the case. Using a NmHi battery will eliminate having to remove the battery to charge it.
