I just would like to have my hands on that tracking code. William who made Shredquette tricopters about year ago had similar features. Ok he did not make he's tricopter to land on moving platform but other than that he did use same idea.
Ok quads we we could have another way to do this, use onboard FPV camera and send control commands via xbee connection to quad. That we no need to have external "landing" mobilephone camera on board.
Cool, man! Very impressive! How do you send the data from camera to the uC? It means... what kind of connection is in between IR Cam and Atmega 644 (I2C, SPI)? Is the data a matrix?
