They claim an unobstructed range of 2500 ft for the tracker, it doesnt record GPS coordinates but it is water resistant and looks like it would be a great lost drone tracker. Only weighs 16 g.

That's 2500 in open space right? Under ideal conditions? I would be more interested to see what happens when you stick it in the trees and see what kind of range you get then.

Very limited Android support, since Bluetooth 4.0 isn't fully supported on most phones. If you could live with shorter range device (100 ft.), the original StickNFind is cheaper: http://www.indiegogo.com/sticknfind/x/1850056.
