Jonathan Buckley and his 13-year-old son Kaden (and friend Jack) just had the most epic day using the new and improved ArduCopter Follow-Me mode to have a 3DR Y6 follow a car (carrying an Android tablet). Have you ever seen a better father-son project??

Very nice work - and what a great family project!
Imagine a car following a copter with:
- on the fly (ortho-)image processing, DEM generation etc.
- some cost-path- analysis
- good obstacle avoidance
- ...
Maybe the red ballon will pave the way.
