***Special Announcement***

April is Safety Month on Diydrones.com to check out how you can help (Click Here!)

As is customary and traditional, we celebrate every new 1,000 members here and share the traffic stats. This time it's 37,000!

There were almost 2.1 million page views this month! (we get around 70,000 page views a day on average). It took us just 20 days to get this latest 1,000 members--we're averaging one new member every 30 minutes.

Thanks as always to all the community members who make this growth possible, and especially the moderators who approve membership applications and blog posts and otherwise answer questions and keep things ticking here.

Wow Africa is a no show, what an untapped market.......

@Gary,  Yeah it seems that their is a big untapped market in Africa.  Maybe with improving technology/costs the market in Africa will open up more to the general public over the next couple years!

I have approved a few members from African nations during last month, but the number is probably in the noise.

Funny considering steadidrone is based in SA and we get regular FPV videos from cape town...

Well I'm in South Africa and I know plenty of people that fly with autopilots. Interested that we are so small in number as to be below the noise floor. Perhaps our slow and expensive web access is more to do with it.

@Gary,  That exactly what I was thinking to!  Web access in Africa is worse than any other continent on the Earth!  I hope someday internet will be more widely accessible/affordable in Africa.
