Here's the kickoff of the Dronecode Members meeting at the Embedded Linux Conference in San Diego today, with Brandon Basso of 3DR doing the opener. You can follow the live tweets here.
I'll post presentations as they become available:
- Dronecode Overview by Brandon Basso
- DroneKit presentation by Ramon Roche
- MAVLink 2.0 presentation by Andrew Tridgell
- More slides coming here
Meanwhile I was in Japan where, among a lot of other things, we celebrated the launch of Dronecode Japan at one of those secret underground sushi places with only six seats. (It was exquisite, of course)
Dronecode Japan is led by Randy Mackay (the APM:Copter team lead), who was at the San Diego meeting, and the team from Drone Japan, including Kiichiro Katsumata, Yousuke Ochiai, Taka Hiron Sunohara-san and others.
Comments
@Randy +1 for a Fly Day.
Bill: Thanks for the catch. Link updated with shared version
It was great to see people at ELC and the drone "un-conference" in San Diego. Next year I hope we add a fly-day.
Congrats! It would be great to meet this friends in person...
Probably should paste a link the DIYdrones japan group
