About a month ago we announced Erle-Spider, a drone with legs powered by Ubuntu with the Robot Operating System at its core and support/compatibility with MAVLink and other Dronecode Foundation tools. Over the last weeks we've been working very hard to launch Erle-Spider for an affordable price and today I'm happy to announce it's crowdfunding campaign.
Erle-Spider is available starting at 399 $ and is based on the Robot Operating System (ROS). ROS packages will be available to connect Erle-Spider with existing MAVLink devices and interfaces.

It's a newer version. The campaign contains some information about it. We'll be releasing more as the campaign goes on.
Erle Brain 1.1 or a newer version?
Where can I read more about it?
Hi Johnatan, it's not using the BBB. It's based on our new brain.
@Victor Here it has quad core processor with 1GB of RAM but here(http://erlerobotics.com/spider/) it is just 512MB of Ram.
If it is using Beagle-Bone Black it should have just 512MB of Ram and a single core processor.
Looks great, good luck! Still think it's odd to have a spider with 6 legs!
GO, GO!!!!
