Ok this is a little tongue in cheek... we talk all the time about the potential life saving of drones in special circumstances like search and rescue, or doing dangerous jobs like fire spotting.
Here though, we have an article on how we could be saving lives even doing tourist photography:
On the edge: Tourists risking their lives for the ‘perfect photo’
Comments
Life is a risk that none of us survive.
Good example of an article that can increase awareness of risk, although there seems to be a few who are then inspired to take more risk. I have a lot of respect for gravity (and for the power of moving water). Looking back in time, I probably should have stayed further away from some natural edges. After all, those edges were made by some previous, unscheduled and unannounced event. Another event could have happened while I was there...
What a spooky photo.
