Here the fuse halves are joined with masking tape and the inch and a half seam tape is applied to the bottom.

Landing gear being molded into the bottom and will be sanded smooth after resin sets. The long brush on top will be used to apply the seam tape to the inside top portion of the fuse.

Rear wheel temporary fit test.

Rear belly hatch used to appy seam tape, later to be used as servo acess.

  • OOOOHHHHH.... toughstar, I like that name. Haven't quite decided how the hatch will be held in place yet. Fit is so tight I have to pry it off. Thought of using super magnets, but they aren't secure enough.

    :0)) , that is going to be one good looking toughstar( well it tough brother of easy star). well done Dr. you have though of most the things like hatch doors etc ... how do u intend to fix hatch door , hings or screw it down? what about cannopy , hinged and slide release?
