The first flight of my Super Sky Surfer 2400 equipped with an APM 2.5 went well. Went through Stabilize and Loiter modes just fine. I didn't prefetch maps on mission planner so I didn't try out any waypoints. That's next time!
Its a really great airframe I love mine, just don't fly too fast it causes the control surfaces to blow back and all sorts of weirdness that can end up in an acceleration towards the green hard stuff. Many people have overpowered these airframes and sped themselves to the scene of the accident. I use mine for the radio collar survey and often extend flights to two hours with a bit of soaring, just cos I can!
