I have successfully built and tested in flight the Micro Multicopter based on a Minsoo Kim's quadcopter kit.
Tested setup:
- hardware: KKmulticopter flight controller v0.2
- firmware: Quadcontroller v4.5 (asm code version can be downloaded here) by Rolf R Bakke.
- 4 brushless motors 925 KV FlyCam 925
- 4 ESC turnigy PLUSH-6
- 2 propellers CW GWS EP5030Rx3
- 2 propellers CCW GWS EP5030x3
- 1 Lipo battery 2S1P 7.4V 800 mAh
- AVRISP mkII programmer
- compiled with AVR Studio 4
- 1 Micro Multicopter full set ( http://www.kkmulticopter.kr )
Take off weight : 280g
The flight is very stable and fun.

Hello Max,
Good news, it seems that you have found the GOOD and the EXACT brushless motor used in the Micro Multicopter. Thanks for sharing this and this is very helpfull for me.
About the flight time with the Micro-Multicopter, I got about 6 minutes of flight with a 2S1P 800 mAh Lipo and 5 minutes with 3S1P 480 mAh Lipo with at least 30 sec of backup power.

Hi Jean-Louis,
I just finished building the same kit (waiting on battery delivery so no flights yet).
After a fare bit of searching I think I've found the motors supplied with the kit at deal extreme (all the dimensions are spot on & the colour matches) http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.45731
What sort of flight times are you getting?
Thanks for the video and pictures they're making me impatient to get mine in the air.

Hello, I have just conducted a Power/Weight ratio measurement with a DPR-50 datalogger on board of the Micro Multicopter during a stable hoovering at 2 meters above the ground. So, you will find below a photo of the tested setup and the data results.

Hello,
I have just added a new test flight video of the Micro Multicopter with a 3S1P Lipo battery (11.1V) 480 mAh. The quadcopter is more reactive and able to flight at high speed and it is also very stable in hoovering.

Thanks to Jean-Louis :-)

I have found a brushless motor which seems close to the original Micro Multicopter.
They are the ADH50XL Micro Brushless outrunner 1700kv
Kv: 1700rpm/v
Size: 13.9 x 22mm
Max current: 4A
Current: 10V/0.31A (No load)
Shaft: 1.5mm
Shaft length: 5mm
Prop: 5030

Hello Joe,
Yes your are true, this is a misstyping from me in the video file, the motors are NOT the flycam 925. I have indicated this because these motors are sells as spare parts. They are directly provided in the Micro multicopter kit and I don't know their reference. They are 15 mm diam and 18 mm height.

Hi Jean-Luis
are you sure you used 4 brushless motors 925 KV FlyCam 925 for MICRO copter? This motor is 28mm diameter and weight 54g - I think too big for microcopter. On the video seems to me that the motor is smaller. Or am I wrong?
