  • As this app matures, it can become an important tool for many survey/inspection kind of drone applications. Tight integration with flight-control APIs, gimbal and camera will be the key! Gradually support for more drones/autopilots/cameras/gimbals can be added (or an OS layer, like FlytOS, can take care of that).

  • We define a side overlap, something essential to the work we do and spin the entire flight plan (the whole box), this has to be changed often in the field quickly for us to fly for days, these resources they are essential.

  • Looks great!  Can you explain what advantages this has over the native "grid" functionality already available in Mission Planner?

  • I am studying to connect using DroneKit, now I will study Flyt too. Thank you.

  • Hello Lenildo, if you integrate it with FlytAPIs (http://flytbase.com), users will be able to directly connect to their drones from your app, and start collecting data. They can skip the manual steps of exporting the mission to a different application.

If you need help in this integration, let me know. We have a library of sample android apps using FlytAPIs to talk to drones (http://github.com/flytbase/flytsamples)
