@Marco, thanks I have already read about it. we are in discussions with them. the rules are already not that liberal. the reason was the article and growing interest in FPV, not any videos in particular.
The stupidity take over here in switzerland. The image the uses is really an expression of the knowledge of the - I guess - journalist.
I'm quiet sure that the reason was the flight at the Walensee, not only the NY flight they quote in the article. Again some old f....rts from some so called national model association decided that all that is new is dangerous. I hope they won't change the quiet liberal rules here: Just insurance, fly LOS and stay 5Km away from airports and you can flight as high as you can.
Very nice video. Trappy , is this a FPV flight ? regular RC flight or both??. I see that there are number of occations where pilot will loose visual line of sight to craft and many occations rf path will be blocked if my imagination is good unless pilot has perch where/with eagles dare view !! . What is the secret of flying inside the valley/gullys without garenteed vitual/ RF path between pilot and craft ?! :)). tnx for sharing this video.. Wish I can fly some day few flights like this one and live long enought to share it too.:)
