FlytBase now supports Ardupilot.
Ardupilot Companion Computers users can now install FlytOS on Intel Edison, NVIDIA Jetson TX1, Intel Aero, Qualcomm Snapdragon Flight, Raspberry Pi 3, ODROID XU4 etc. and get access to extensive Drone APIs and Drone SDK to build custom drone applications.
Visit https://flytbase.com to get started.
Extensive Drone API documentation is available for multiple programming languages and technologies like ROS, C++, Python, Rest and Websocket.
For Ardupilot users using Pixhawk or Pixhawk2, FlytBase adds a lot of other capabilities, like, integration with ROS, OpenCV for building intelligent applications. It also provides you RESTful, WebSocket endpoints, and comes with ready SDKs for building custom web/mobile apps. Basically, it helps you leverage the true potential of your companion computer on Pixhawk or Pixhawk 2.
For those, who already have an activated FlytOS running in their devices, need only to connect to the internet. FlytOS would auto update itself.
Compatibility for Intel Joule and NVIDIA TX2 is on its way.
You can follow the easy step by step guide to Get Started with FlytOS and Companion Computer. Install FlytOS on your CC and try out available Sample Drone Apps.
See the Developers section to start building your own drone apps.
For discussions, you can join us on our Forums or FlytOS Developers Group.
Look forward to working with other members on building interesting drone applications!
