HEXA "H½" COPTER

Hello World! I made this little stuff in my kitchen. It's my third multicopter and it's controlled by an APM 2.5

I like the "H½" architecture, it's very strong resist. The washers made plastic tube are good dampers.

Pins are solder on the opposite side to use the APM like a shield on an pcb test mother board.

Same thing with the turnigy 9ch receiver.

Project.

1) Have a better english (I'm very sorry for the mistakes)

2) Change the central part of the frame to give more protection to the camera,

3) Make a real PCB mother board for the ESC, AMP and receiver ....

Thank

  • Looks like I need to by two mor motors. Great build. Chalk yet another one up for the H-copter!

  • thank for your comments :-)

@ crashpilot Gimball implementation  'll waiting a newcamera...

@ Criro the photo  was take just a test for placing the lipo  during the build. In the video i use only one lipo in the same time. the lipo I  had are too different(old/new) to be use in the same time. I'm affraid one cutoff shortly as the second...

The motors are D2822/17 Brushless Outrunner 1100kv with prop spinner include  here

    The propeler are 10x4.5

The copter weight is 2.8 kg

  • Nice project.

I did notice you have 2 Lipo in parallel. What is your flight time with both? And what is the flight time with only one?

And what specification you have as motors, props, Lipo, copter weight?

  • Me too! The APM quick out is a very good idea! I like the details (battery on GPS). Perhaps the gimbal needs some attention :)

  • Like it a lot. Great idea making custom pcb/shield!!
