Gary you are a very funny man!

Yes I think they need to work on that a little. I like the dragging a line down a road for creating distances gizmo that's cool. But rather please, don't try that out on this map!

Bit of a way off 60 entries for the USA at the minute!

  • That was easy!  Once you get the "intuitive interface" figured out!!!

    Hi Chris

Once you hit the edit on the map itself there are three little icons

Drag that balloon pin one onto the map. Then call Google and tell them their interface is tricky!

I'm logged in, but can't see how to add a point. Clicking on the map does nothing. There's an edit button on the left, but it just lets me edit the description of the overall project. How did you add your points?

    Good show

  • Some time ago I made similar map of my variometers on the world. Variometer software check update server for presence of new software and drop it's IP in the log. I wrote software what analyse logs and translate IP numbers into locations on the map. This is result: http://www.pitlab.com/skyassistant-on-the-world.html

This are historical data from February do December of 2010.

You should be able to Chris, its open for all to add. I guess you must have a Google account to do it and sign in at Google maps.

When the page is open sign in after clicking  the My Places tab and enter away, I think.......... What a horrid explanation!

Gary, how can we add our own flying locations to that map?
