Sidney Leggitt has launched a project on Indiegogo to start a company to create a "Personal Drone Network". At the moment, that appears to be mostly just selling a RTF ArduPlane for $850 or $1,500 with a full video setup. Looks like a pretty cool project, but it would have been nice to credit us, given that he is using our technology and copied the marketing language (including my mistakes!) from some early APM product listings.

Sid, what you are discovering is that with open source giving credit is a big thing. I guess it has to do with people working for free and all. :)

I don't know Tim personally, but I've only heard good things. I think a good rule of thumb when starting out on any public project, especially a commercial one, is to at least contact everyone involved, even if it's not directly. I'm guessing Tim got his pictures from CaliDave and put them up with him permission. Given your stated intent it would be advisable to make sure Readmade RC is completely aware of what's going on. Particularly if your venture takes off, you want to make sure they have stock.
Given that you have been quick to respond to concerns and fixed any issues in question, you seem genuine and your venture legitimate. I would think there would be a decent market for an RTF UAV, particularly because Readymade stopped making their RTF packages.
You should consider contacting CaliDave regarding his pictures. He might let you use them, who knows.

Wow didnt know it would be so hard out of the gate, The pictures where from Readymaderc website I didnt think Tim would mind since he would be getting sales.I have removed the pictures, I got the penguin in on friday so I can post my own. Again hope I didnt mess up to bad

Apparently Sidney Leggitt is using pictures of Calidave's (from over at FPVLab.com) Penguin build with out his knowledge or permission.

I have made that change also. I appreciate the help and the repost of the project. I hope we really can make a difference with this technology. The website I am setting up well provide RTF drones but it will also hopefully be a place where people can get help from those who own a drone.
Thanks for making those changes. You might also want to correct some errors that were in the copied text. For example, the onboard relay refers to APM 1, not APM 2.x
Chris I have made the changes to the project and have added diydrones.com as the source for the features and have added the APM2 and given credit there also. I hope I didn’t offend anyone I am just trying to make the lives of people better using this tech
