Hi all,

we have shuffled together a few IR photos, extracted 3D model with PhotoSynth, meshed, textured, projected and other stupid things.

Now could somebody tell me if it serves any purpose because I got creativity crisis.

@Clark why not to take full spectrum, IR+visual, instead of two at the same time? What is the real requirement?

The project that I am working on is to eventually take IR photos of our crops where I work. You have to take 1 digital photo and 1 IR photo at the same time. You then overlay one with the other and then you are able to determine plant health and dryer areas due to irrigation not working correctly.
We currently have the photos take from a full scale 172 and spend over 60k / yr to have it done.

I still think that none of us actually know what the top application of civil sUAS will be.

Sensor technology and information distribution seems completely ignored at the minute.
