Last weekend for your T3 entries!

Entries for the current T3 contest (virtual Sparkfun competition) are due by midnight PST on Sunday, so this is your last weekend to get a flight in. The current leading time is 25.7 seconds by Brian Wolfe. Here's his track:



Jason Short and I will be flying the pattern tomorrow as we test some new code. We're just using beater EasyStars, so we won't win, but the point is just to enter. Get out there and try the course--it's the easiest one we've done!

    Jason and I got some good runs in today after we finally got the code right. Will post the times later tonight...I don't think we'll come anywhere close to winning, but it's about as fast as my EasyStar is going to go in the wind.

    I just retired Stryker II two more crashes 1st one from 100'and survived fine but second time from way up 200'. spiral dive no time to recover. Motor & mount, ublox, & front view camera, were shed, bounced 10' away. starboard wing ripped to GF spar, broke control horn again, air speed sensor ripped off Shield, repairable maybe?

    I have all elements (TM Elevon mixing) in place but, I need to get PIDs tuned AUTO going, with great luck, I may get in an entry.
