Apologies for the back-to-back posts, but we wanted to give you the next talk in our DroneCon 2014 recap: Jono Millin’s overview of DroneDeploy.
Reminder that DroneCon.org is nigh, where you’ll be able to access the 2014 program and sign up for the latest on DC2015, as well as review abstracts, bios, and all the talks as we release them. Until then we’ll publish a talk a day right here on DIY Drones. Thanks!

Thanks for your honesty. I applied for an "explorership" but consider it cancelled... I think I'll just plug a 4G LTE modem into a PXF instead. You guys aren't going to go all patent troll on us, are you?
Thanks for the comments!
@Aaron: This is a commercial venture intended to support commercial operations. We may be opening some portions of our code base up in the coming months, but for now it's closed.
@Jack: We've been flying exclusively on our platform since November last year - racked up a few hundred hours.
Any questions, feel free to reach out at info@dronedeploy.com
Er, I meant DroneDeploy above, not DroneShare, sorry.
How many flights has he done over LTE?
Also, has anyone gotten https://store.3drobotics.com/products/phonedrone-board-for-android to work to do the 4G control part of what DroneShare is trying to do?
To what extent is this an open project?
I did as well. Anxiously waiting delivery.
me too ;-)
