Hangar 18 is pleased to announce that we have a licensing agreement with AttoPilot International to develop and produce an FPV version of the Jackaroo UAV. The new airframe will be a lower cost version that is designed and built with the FPV enthusiast in mind and will feature lower cost materials to let us pass the savings on to you. Please e-mail us at infor@hangar18uav.com and watch our website at www.hangar18uav.com for updates in the very near future.

Please join us as we witness the evolution of CAD into a fully integrated Requirements, Design, Analysis, Logic, Manufacture, Inspection, Maintenance and 3DExperience platform.

The presentation will be at the NCAT Auditorium in Northeast Wichita on Sept. 9th, 2014.  Please RSVP if you plan to attend.

  • Making good progress on the fuselage and have the first one just about complete. Just need to make the motor faring and wing and it's pretty much done. Hope to be test flying a couple of these next week.

Jimmy: assuming that's RTF (includes motor/esc/servos), that's great!
  • Right now we're shooting for ~$250 for cost.

Can you give us a ballpark estimate of what "low cost" might mean?
  • We are currently developing the lower cost airframe and will have pictures in about a week. The FPV version will have EPP wings for durability and a light weight fuselage with the same clear dome for shooting video from.  Here's a picture of the original Jackaroo from AttoPilot International.

  • Might you have any pictures?

    Thanks
