Very impressive HD video footage from my friend's Panya's custom home made mini H quad with the new Mobius Action Camera - from the makers of the original Keychain Cam. Using wooden arms and Simonk'd 12Amp HK-BS ESCs and myrcmart's 2400KV ZMR motors with a multiwii lite FC, this little H frame is a wonderful video and FPV platform. In the video you can see my ZMR minquad being chased around.

  • BTW HeliStorm, here's the details of my friend's Mini H quad build with photos and parts list. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1965226

  • Hi HeliStorm, the quad my friend built is a foldable H quad with 1/2 inch square bass wood arms. He used 3 Helicopter rectangle carbon fiber frames from Hobby King as a base. He also used a lot of nylon standoffs. The frame design is very similar to the QAV 500 layout and the wooden arms are foldable using wing nuts and washers. So this little quad can fit easily into a back pack. It uses 3 blade 5 inch props. Motors are 2400KV ZMR motors from myrcmart.com. ESCs are Blue Series HobbyKing 12amp. I believes he flies it on a 2200mah 3S hobbyking 25c lipo battery, so the motors run a little warm. He is using a MultiWii Lite Flight controller.  Because the KV rate of the motors are very high (2400kv), there is virtually no Jello effect on the 1080p 30fps video.

For me I'm flying the ZMR quad kit, but I modified it to use HobbyKing's Blue Series 12A ESC, SimonK'd.

  • Impressive video! The more I see of this camera, the more I am wanting to buy one. Roughly how big is the quad this is on? Do you have more details on the setup? Thanks.
