Oh no I'm making this quad world, funny how quad posts all arrive together just like buses, I thought this chap had done well and this was worth sharing.

Looking further they seem to know what they are doing...

Props are all on backwards. Bet he'd get a ton more flight time if they were correct.

The quadpowered site says 4x Propeller chips meaning 32x32bit 80mhz cores, so not a Basic Stamp.

Glad you shared it. I'm also trying to lift a Canon 5dII, so this is interesting to me. Currently, I'm using the aeroquad (soon also arducopter) platform and 4 turnigy 2217 motors. Not enough to lift a 5dII, but can lift smaller dslr (barely). Think I'll build a new frame and run 8 motors. Seems like you should be able to get
away with fewer batteries...
