  • I spoke to them in February and this was the reply: 2

Due to its unusually light weight (less than 1 ounce), and its >500hz ranging rate, the mlr100 is export restricted and requires a license. We are in the process of getting this license for other UK companies however so it is possible. The base unit is $2500 in low quantities. We have no other standard altimeter or range finder products at this time. Please let me know if you would like to proceed."

$750 - I can feel some anxiety, break into a sweat and might do something rash - but $2500 no way.
  • I think it is around $750 - that is what I think Reed told me.
  • Great post, but price would be nice. Does anyone know if there are other miniature laser sensors for short-range high resolution applications (millimeter resolution)
  • No idea at this point on $$$
  • Amazing !!!...

Is there any mention of $$$ anywhere ??
