Jack, I'm surprised--I thought you'd jump at this. It's a natural for a quadcopter. Indeed, I'm willing to bet that a quadcopter wins.

You'd need to drive a safety pilot around the building fast enough to stay in line of sight. The parking lots would have to be empty. The building's landlord would have to be on vacation. The maximum altitude would have to be high enough for GPS to work. Then there's the travel & lodging. Too bad Colorado can't be networking & Silicon Valley can't be robotics.

Call it a hunch, but I bet the UAVs will do better than any UGVs :P
