Some of you have noticed that we've added a chat app to this site. The problem is that we're all busy and scattered around the world's time zones, so it's hard to get a critical mass of people in the chat room at any one time. So I suggest a scheduled chat hour, once a week.
When? The poll is below, but I'll make my own preference clear first. I'm in California, and the only predictable free time I've got is on Sunday evenings. I'm fine if people want other times, but I may not be able to participate.
A podcast works great. if you have a controlled environment and not alot of people talking at once. how about a Ustream show once a week with chat for everyone and video and voice for chris and jordi.
Daily Chat topics of some importance could be promoted to discussions on the main weekly Sunday Chat... and MidWeek Chat for those who can't attend main Weekend Chat, it could be Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday to allow some time to prep Sunday's topics... or something similar.
As far as the schedule goes I'd prefer Saturday Nite (10pm or such) to allow us (Euro DIYDroneLovers) to attend on an early Sunday AM.
Definitely up for a Skype-like meeting more than a type-all-you-can meeting.
Topics-wise, is it there any schedule? This way one will attend only when he/she is actually interested on the Subject of the Discussion (to address Jack's concern).
Can't we setup a board with the wishlist of the members?

I think Skype is probably the way to go eventually, but maybe we can start with text chat to get a sense of demand.
Sat night is too hard on social lives/wives, I fear.
