Rescue Robotics has some big goals, but has the the right team of people behind it, who are looking forward to getting the system working out in the field.
X-Craft has been developing and operating UAVs for a few years now, and are committed to using robotic systems for the betterment of the human condition. Holding a company mandate that allows us to operate on a not-for-profit basis for humanitarian and environmental projects. In alignment with this policy, we are specialists in the Emergency Services sector.

Thanks for sharing, Chris, best of luck with the campaign! Feel free to post it on the Humanitarian UAV Network (UAViators.org) as well if you'd like.
X-craft was incorporated in 2010, its a New Zealand company that develops and operates a whole range of UAVs in a wide variety of roles, for a wide range of customers. It has absolutely no links to xCraft of Ohio (2014) who develop the tail sitter, other than a similar name.
Yeah not same company but same owners...
Obviously?
Let's not be too hard on them. It's a valiant effort, and a good cause.
Obviously not the same company :)
from their website:
X-craft has a special company mandate for environmental and humanitarian missions. X-craft is the architect of the Rescue Robotics project, a system that brings rapid response to any Emergency Event.
As Quadzimodo says: Hilarious
@Rob - I was wondering about that.
