Yep, agree Tom. Would be fun to go, but there's no chance. I'm bummed I won't be able to go to the ELC conference in March either, second year now where it has become the de facto Ardupilot developer annual meeting, and I can't attend.
How many contests can Tridge enter before he explodes?

Hi Chris,
I would like to attend the 2016 AVC and I think that my Pixhawk equipped dual GPS Rovers would be very competitive, however the around trip airfare from Ft. Lauderdale, hotel accommodations, and rental car add up to around $700 which is a bit pricy for a one day event.
