I have no problem with vibration. Our little iris with it's mount did this: http://diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/mapping-fire-fuel-load-wi... in 3 missions (~10 ha total, 90 m agl, 4 m/s, canon s110 1 pix/2s running KAP script).
I tried something similar with a Powershot S100 - and 2/3rds of the images were unusably fuzzy.
Have you tried it? I tested a mount very similar to that, and the vibrations are too much for the camera. Tested with a point-and-shoot Canon, Samsung, and GoPro.
