    Changed to a speed 350 my friend had. Went flying. Had a blast. The slots definitely work and work well. Every stall was straight forward. Kill the throttle and pull full back elevator and it goes into a series of fugoids. You can even stear it around with the ailerons. I will be adding more elevator throw for sure. I was not able to induce a tip stall.

    Got the 450 mounted. Should be a fun day tomorrow.

    Thanks! That is some CF ribbon. About 0.007" thick. Makes for nice reinforcement under the laminate.

    It turned out to be the motor. Putting in a eflight 450 890kv.

    It flew hands off. It was a bit nose heavy for this flight, though. The landing was very easy and roll control was excellent you can see me veer to the left a little and straighten it out before touch down. The controll was nice and krisp.
    I should have it up again tomorrow.

    Nice one Wayne!  I'm real keen to learn how effective your slotted LE's are in the real world.  After playing about with airfoils, vortilons and wing fences in OpenFOAM, I'm about to try some slots.  I plan to post up some results as soon as I can get it all together because it's been quite a fascinating ride.

    That's alot of flat carbon hitching a ride. Is that more suited to a small APM?
