Join Team BlackSheep and associates for a weekend of formation flying in the alps. This video changes the perspective a bit, and gives lets you view our planes from the ground.
You guys made something really frikkin cool then, out of readily accessible equipment. Kudos to the Black Sheep team, makes me wanna go bush with my FPV and do the same, only I suck really badly at flying, and it's Winter, and I want to sleep all the time. Thanks for the info aufmschlau :)
thanks! no we used multiple cameras. The timelapse shots were done with a DSLR (our camera man will tell you which one soon, I have no idea :) ). All the airborne footage was done with the GoPro HD, though.
Trappy, was the whole video recorded using GoPro? The opening scenes showing timelapse, or sped up clouds forming/disappearing is a great effect you only see in top snoboarding, hang gliding video production, it's pure class!
I also think it would be safe to assume that each shot has been color corrected to match the rest of the video. And a very nice video it is btw. :) Good flow and great use of music.

One word... AWESOME!
thanks. yes, the ground-shots have been color-corrected to match our aerial footage.

the video you see from the aircraft is GoPro HD footage. We also use DSLRs on the ground, and our own custom "TBS69" for the FPV feed.
