  • What camera are you guys using on the plane? It seems to be handling light change and lens flair really well.

  • We dont have much static but we dive in and out of LOS and cut some blind corners. People dont see from the life feed everything we see on the mountains. The spotters make a great deal of put situational awareness.

Lens is 4 mm on the FPV camera
  • Oh well. i just though it would be interesting to see how you tackle the flying.. people would probably freak out at the amount of static you have :P. what fov lens do you use?

  • thanks for the cool comments guys!

Rafal, there are multiple reasons why we do not post the streamed FPV footage. Once you have as many viewers as we do, you need to be careful with what you show and what you don't show. Too many people already draw (wrong) conclusions and try and get us into trouble for the GoPro footage - I can't imagine how bad it will be once we post FPV footage.

"Training Day" is the video I made with my buddy preparing him for our FPV weekend.

  • That's dope!

  • superb footing and flying.. wish I have all equipment ready fro thing l;ike this.. ;=)

I thought it was fantastic, thanks for sharing. I'm so impressed with how far FPV has come since I started only two years ago.

  • hehe. I guess i expect too much, as most FPVers [yes the first person view kind] give great support! Its not like posting such a video [even on a separate channel] is such a difficult thing to do. you don't even have to edit it much!Once i get my setup to go a *fraction* of 80km, ill be happy to share what i have learnt :P

Argh, all the mountain-ish terrain we have here in AU is covered in trees.. need to find some nice flying spots! NZ is close by...

  • Rafal, you're so confused. By "Training Day" he means someone else's training...not yours...and by FPV feed he doesn't mean First-Person-View....as that only makes up 90% of his videos.... So you need to listen to what he means...not what he says....it's all very clear.

  • thanks Brandin. Mission accomplished, I guess :)
