After watching a spectacular showing by the DIY community at the Sparkfun AVC 2013 we let a Falcon take to the air. We took a few photos and put together this quick fly around using 123DCatch of the AVC layout. Enjoy, Chris

So I missed part of your presentation, did you say you're using a compact GPS-equiped Canon camera for this? Just set it on intervalometer and go? With CHDK? And is 123DCatch free?

Photogrammetry may one day be good enough to replace practical photography with 3D models. No source code, but nobody cares if it's good enough.

Yes, it looks like 123DCatch is free and you can use the browser based version, iOS, or Windows.
