I still don't understand why this has 'Pad' in the name when it only works on Android...!

@Nigel Pad because use a Pad or Smartphone but is optimize for PAD . How you call the PAD there are a lot more pad that use Android as O.S. respect of IPad on the market :)

"PAD there are a lot more pad that use Android as O.S. respect of IPad on the market :) "

But the Android market refers to them as 'TABLETS', not 'PADS'

The only 'pad' on the market is the iPad.

And there may be numerically more Android tablets out there than iPads, but the majority are junk tablets given away in 2nd tier markets with phone contracts...

The first one to bring a viable iPad solution to the market for Ardupilot will get killed in the rush...

Yeah, the people that use Apple products are well known for being suckers.  They'll pay twice as much for something with less than 8% market share.  Always smart to cash in on them.

I notice Virtual Robotics is selling $6 HopeRF modules for $60, so I'm surprised they aren't already a division of Apple.

Thanks for calling me a sucker - you are patently an Apple-hater.

Sorry but I use both Android and iOS.

You get what you pay for:

Android = bugs, cheap nasty build quality.

iOS = top build quality, stability and a lot less pain.

And Apple has 32% of the tablet market. And that 32% use their devices.

Most of the 68% Android and Windows share are junk tablets given away to entice Android phone users.

You seem to know the cost of everything and the value of nothing...
